Flex is seeking a Security Specialist to protect people and property at the Juarez South Site. You will identify security incidents, mitigate gaps, and ensure a safe work environment for personnel and operations.

Reporting to the Security Manager, you will handle daily operations, assist with investigations, manage security systems, and coordinate with HR, Compliance, and local authorities. This on-site role offers growth within a global manufacturing network.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Valid visa to work locally.
• CTPAT and OEA knowledge, compliance oversight, audits.
• Experience in asset security and loss prevention.
• Experience with investigation techniques and interviews.
• Ensure asset security protocol compliance in warehouses/docks.
• Knowledge of electronic security systems, CCTV and access control.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Oversee campus perimeter access control and SCC.
• Manage visitor badges and HID access control.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Security Specialist located in Juarez South Site.

Reporting to the Security Manager the Security Specialist's role involves to be in charge of identifying security incidents and gaps, mitigate them and provide information. To provide a safe and secure work environment for personnel and operations.

What a typical day looks like:

• Apply safety and security rules as per manuals, including but not limited to course of action, protocols, pertinent laws, regulations, and standards.
• Manage daily safety and security operations and resolve any escalated issues.
• Assist Security Manager to do monthly guard assessment, handle emergency cases, help with investigations and audits.
• In charge of the setting up and maintenance of security and alarm systems. Supervise the security entrance/exit.
• Implement security/safety improvements in accordance with corporate policies and local best practices.
• Know commercial operations for the site in order to detect loss risk and carry out correspondence investigations.
• Develop and maintain list of appropriate police jurisdiction contacts.
• Monitor security officers to enforce security/safety programs and to ensure security provider is providing security officers with the appropriate skillsets and work attitudes.
• Acknowledges all security concerns from tenants and company personnel, and door or system alarms.
• Develop and maintain positive relations with tenants, contractors, local law enforcement, etc., as well as internal cross-functions like HR, Compliance, and business.
• Monitor maintenance security equipment and fix the problems in time.
• Assistant to follow up security system construction progress in building and manage suppliers.
• Manage the SCC and campus perimeter access control system.
• Holds up building customer access (visitor badge, computer label, HID access).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelors Degree and or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office
• Valid visa
• Knowledge certificate in CTPAT and OEA, overseeing compliance with procedures, regulatory controls, and audit-related actions.
• Experience in asset security.
• Experience with Loss prevention strategies
• Experience with Investigation techniques, interview methods, and internal incident investigations.
• Checking compliance with asset security protocols, loading and unloading in warehouses and docks, especially high-value goods.
• Knowledge in managing and operating electronic security systems, CCTV, access control.
