Position Objective/Purpose

Protect the physical integrity of employees, visitors, and contractors, as well as prevent losses, and comply with the requirements established in the supply chain security program. Develop and execute a strategic plan to support and continuously improve knowledge, skills, and the learning environment in a mid-sized, high-mix multinational engineering and manufacturing organization. Authorities: Refer to FMI-143 for individual standard operating procedures related to management system authorities/responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding Spellman property, as well as protecting personnel and all matters related to Supply Chain Security protocols.
  • Detecting and preventing risks to asset security.
  • Complying with established Supply Chain Security processes and procedures and related programs or certifications.
  • Respond to Supply Chain emergencies in accordance with Spellman's established procedures and current regulations, including detection, mitigation, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Executes drills required by current regulations and Spell's Asset Security programs.
  • Performs emergency equipment checks.
  • Collaborates in internal Supply Chain Security audits.
  • Investigates incidents related to Asset Security and documents the corresponding reports.
  • Participates in the implementation of Supply Chain Security improvement suggestions from the CIP program.
  • Participates in Asset Security training.
  • Conducts plant walkthroughs to detect risk conditions for employees, processes, and the facility.
  • Supports monitoring of hazardous work activities performed by Contractors.
  • Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following the procedures and instructions applicable to their activities.
Competencies and Skills
  • Completed high school.
  • Preferably one year in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of Asset Security systems (2).
  • Basic application of controls and prevention of asset losses.
  • Emergency response.
  • Access control management.
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of CTPAT and AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) programs (2).
  • Preparation of incident reports.
  • High ethical standards.
