The role requires a B.A. degree in a relevant discipline and offers opportunities to work on multiple projects while collaborating with a diverse team. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of SAP, and the ability to contribute original ideas. Experience in the field is required.

Position Title: Scientist

Position Location: Guangzhou, China

Primary Duties:

• This is a lab bench position
• Ability to complete projects independently & analyze results
• Ability to lead simple stage gate projects with minimal supervision
• Ability to contribute in global project teams
• Ability to contribute original ideas to projects
• Ability to work on & contribute to multiple projects
• Present & report tech info at internal R&D & cross‑functional meetings
• Leverage knowledge of raw materials & their impact on product performance in projects
• Ability to design experiments (DOE) with guidance
• Knowledge of product application & equipment.
• Knowledge of SAP & ability to enter formulas, search capabilities, troubleshoot customer issues, etc.,
• Ability to learn about customer complaints & QNs
• Ability to develop plans for research projects or product development programs with oversight from supervisor
• Proactively collaborate with peers and support development, sharing, and testing of new ideas with the a team
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property basics & ability to document data in a way that can be used for IP (patents/trade secrets).
• Visit our plants and/or regional labs, OEMs, customers.
