A global professional services company in Querétaro is seeking a detail-driven Scheduler to support construction scheduling for complex data center projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6, and the ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy in project tracking and reporting while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.

Formación

  • Solid grasp of construction phases and contract compliance.
  • Strong written skills for reporting and coordination.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑driven Scheduler to support the planning and execution of construction schedules for complex data center projects, ensuring precision in progress tracking, reporting, and coordination across disciplines. Based on‑site in Querétaro, the Scheduler will play a key role in maintaining baseline accuracy and facilitating decision‑making through reliable schedule analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of project schedules using Critical Path Methodology (CPM), including activity sequencing, milestones, and interdependencies.
  • Perform progress updates and maintain accuracy of current vs. baseline comparisons across construction packages.
  • Assist in preparing 90‑day lookahead schedules, identifying risks, float consumption, and recovery opportunities.
  • Generate planning outputs for weekly and monthly progress reports, including earned value metrics and variance analyses.
  • Contribute to internal frameworks by providing consistent progress data and insights into forecast trends.
  • Support the Lead Planner in preparing program narratives and logic diagrams for stakeholder presentation.
  • Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to collect activity data and validate progress against planned durations.
  • Maintain records of schedule assumptions, updates, and interface milestones between contracts and disciplines.
  • Participate in progress meetings and provide input on scheduling impacts from scope changes or delays.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in data centers or mission‑critical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and understanding of CPM principles.
  • Solid grasp of construction phases, subcontractor coordination, and contract compliance.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong written skills for reporting and coordination.
