KBR, Inc. is seeking a SATCOM Electronics Technician to support operation and maintenance of satellite communications systems at Diego Garcia. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, monitor systems, and ensure quality control under supervision, with minimum 2 years of related experience.

U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required; strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills are essential for this remote, high-stakes assignment.

Formación

• U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SATCOM facility experience.
• Experience with listed SATCOM hardware is preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in CS/EE is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor SATCOM Earth Terminal Systems during shifts.
• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance per SOPs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues using technical docs.
• Configure, test, align, and inspect telecom systems to standards.
• Monitor system alarms and respond promptly to queries.
• Conduct performance testing with advanced tools.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.
• Support additional duties as required by mission and contract.
