Amentum is seeking a SATCOM Electronics Technician for a government contract on Diego Garcia. The role involves setting up and maintaining satellite terminals, configuring equipment, and providing user training in a remote overseas environment.

Applicants must have two years of satellite communications operations experience and solid electronics knowledge, with the ability to obtain a US clearance and passport.

Formación

• Two years of specialized experience in satellite communications facility operations (within last four years).
• Two years specialized experience in electronic theory, diagnostics, and maintenance (within last three years).
• Must be able to obtain/maintain US passport and driver’s license; valid for at least one year.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, configure, operate, and maintain SATCOM terminals and related assemblies.
• Install equipment per manufacturer specs and troubleshoot using schematics and test instruments.
• Provide user training and guidance on operation and configuration of SATCOM equipment.
• Lead testing and tuning to achieve optimum performance; assist in problem resolution with engineering.
