A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Functional Consultant in Mexico to resolve SAP issues and enhance business solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in the life sciences sector. Formación

• Experience in configuration and maintenance of SAP ECC and S4 systems.
• Exposure to highly customized SAP environments.
• Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve SAP issues and deliver enhancements as required.
• Complete tasks assigned by team lead and project manager.
• Review solutions designed by team members and propose improvements.

Conocimientos

In-depth functional understanding for PP and expert knowledge in SAP

Functional understanding of related SAP modules (MM, EWM, SD, QM)

Good understanding of business processes in life sciences

Ability to prepare and review functional specifications

Understanding of ITIL processes

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Role and Responsibilities

• As a Functional Consultant, will be responsible for resolving any SAP issues reported by the business users and delivering all enhancements as required by business users.
• Responsible for completing all tasks assigned by team lead and project manager.
• Responsible for reviewing solutions designed by the team members and proposing improvements.
• Owner of certain niche processes within broader domain area; e.g., interfacing to 3rd party systems like MES, Advanced planning, 3PL, etc.

Required Skills and experience

• In-depth functional understanding for PP and expert knowledge in configuration and maintenance of SAP systems for both ECC and S4 systems.
• Functional understanding and integration with related SAP modules like MM, EWM, SD, QM, and the end-to-end process.
• Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.
• Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications.
• Exposure to highly customized SAP environments and working on interfaces with non‑SAP systems.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and application life cycle management.
• Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements; should have working experience in a validated environment.
• Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
• Experience of various estimation techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
