HSBC is seeking a Support Senior Manager to lead sanctions compliance aligned with OFAC, UN, EU and HM Treasury guidance. The role focuses on implementing sanctions policies, training staff, and maintaining controls to protect the bank from financial crime.

The candidate will manage a team of Compliance Officers, review escalated alerts, and provide direction on sanctions projects across the region while ensuring timely reporting and adherence to policy standards.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sanctions compliance roles.
• Experience across personal and commercial banking services; SME in sanctions and regulatory environments.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to analyze complex geopolitical contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sanctions compliance for escalated payments and ensure timely processing.
• Review new/update sanctions requirements and update processes and procedures.
• Manage daily review of escalated alerts and guide investigations.
• Provide guidance to project teams on sanctions-related systems projects in the region.
• Escalate material breaches to Senior Management and drive continuous improvements.
