Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex Salesforce applications. This role collaborates with technical architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

You will implement Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, while keeping up with releases, writing technical docs, and supporting CI/CD and release management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II and Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and integration tools like Talend and Data Loader.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Agile development experience.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions on the platform.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Develop and customize Salesforce apps using declarative features such as Validations, Formulas, Flow, and Lightning.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects and Business Analysts to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Coordinate and support release management, including version control, deployment, and documentation.
• Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture, code, configurations, and user guides.
• Debug and optimize implementations.

About the role

We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to be a key contributor in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce applications. This individual will work closely with technical architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and customized solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce development, advanced Apex programming, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems.

General Tasks:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools.
• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Salesforce declarative features such as Validations, Formulas, Flow, and Salesforce Lightning
• Work with Technical Architects and Business Analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, and participate in the technical design and architecture process.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks on time
• Coordinate and support the release management process, including version control, deployment, and documentation of new features and functionality.
• Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, new features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture, code, configurations, and user guides.
• Debugging and optimizing implementations

Technical:

• Extensive experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II and Salesforce Certified Application Architect,
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP), Integration tools (Talend, Data Loader, etc.), and AppExchange solutions
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, share knowledge, and contribute to the growth of the team
• Experience in integration with SAP / MS Dynamics CRM will be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
