ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Sales & Membership Support Associate, you’ll play a key role in helping prospective members discover the value of MDS and guiding them through the application process. You’ll conduct discovery calls, follow up with leads, support events and tradeshows, and help execute marketing campaigns aimed at growing our membership. You’ll manage data in our CRM, track prospects, and provide insights to improve our outreach and conversion efforts. The goal of this role is to support the membership and marketing teams in building strong relationships, increasing membership, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for every prospective member.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First point of contact for prospective members: Conduct discovery calls with prospective members, walking them through MDS’s features and benefits, understanding their needs, and supporting and guiding qualified leads through the application process.
  • Support event presence: Help represent MDS at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events by coordinating logistics and assisting in building relationships with potential members and partners.
  • Coordinate lead follow-up: Ensure timely communication with prospects, maintain accurate data collection, and keep records updated in our CRM for smooth handoffs to the memberships team.
  • Assist with lead nurturing efforts: Support outreach through email, SMS, and other channels to convert interest into membership applications.
  • Collaborate with marketing: Help execute promotional campaigns, special offers, and pricing initiatives aimed at boosting membership growth.
  • Share insights: Report on prospect conversations to improve messaging and conversion processes.
  • Maintain data accuracy: Keep member and prospect information updated in Go High Level and other platforms for team efficiency.
  • Provide event support: Assist in hosting events and ensuring smooth member experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or member acquisition, ideally in a community-based or entrepreneurial organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and represent MDS with professionalism and authenticity.
  • Proven track record of managing a high volume of conversations and converting leads through discovery calls, events, and digital outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, email/SMS marketing platforms, and lead nurturing best practices.
  • Comfortable traveling to tradeshows and industry events as a visible representative of the brand.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
  • Fluent written and spoken English for effective communication with members and colleagues.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation Range:
  • $1,900 - $2,500 per month
Bonus Opportunities
  • Annual Bonus Pool Participation: Participate in an annual bonus pool, contingent upon the year-over-year growth rate in Membership Income (MI) and maintaining a 75% average in the defined KPIs. Bonus is accrued yearly; 50% is paid at year-end, and the remaining in the following mid-year.
  • Team Member Referral Bonus: Earn between $750 - $2,500 for successful hires referred, depending on the role level. The bonus is contingent upon both parties’ continued employment for a minimum of six months.
  • Spot and Additional Bonuses: Awarded at the executive team's discretion for exceptional performance and contributions.
