Syngenta is seeking a Sales Manager – Passive Greenhouse (PGH) to lead the PGH business across Mexico, including Guadalajara, Puebla, Culiacán or Querétaro. You will recruit, coach and direct a high-performing commercial team, focusing on market insights, portfolio priorities and sustainable results.

You will drive planning excellence, forecast accuracy and disciplined execution while partnering with Marketing, R&D and Supply to deliver growth in a complex, matrix organization.

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Commercial Team is seeking a Sales Manager – Passive Greenhouse (PGH) in Guadalajara, Puebla, Culiacán or Querétaro. The Commercial Manager – Passive Greenhouse is accountable for leading the PGH business in Mexico, translating strategy and market insights into clear commercial priorities, developing a high-performing team, and delivering sustainable business results through disciplined execution.

• Use data, market intelligence and customer insights to support sound business decisions and resource allocation.
• Ensure robust forecasting and demand planning aligned with market reality and business commitments.

• Take ownership of business performance and deliver against sales, profitability, market share and strategic objectives.
• Translate priorities into clear responsibilities, KPIs, operating routines and consistent follow-up.
• Identify performance gaps early and drive timely corrective actions.
• Maintain transparent communication on performance, risks and opportunities, ensuring clear accountability and no surprises.

• Maintain strong field presence and direct connection with growers, customers, distributors and key market stakeholders.

• Drive demand creation, customer development and adoption of strategic products and new portfolio solutions.
• Connect market insights with Marketing, Product Specialists and R&D to strengthen current execution and future portfolio development.

Qualifications

Required

• Proven commercial and people leadership experience within vegetable seeds, protected crops or a closely related agricultural business.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, customer development, portfolio management and demand creation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop professional teams.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience building and executing business plans.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional and matrix organization.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• High customer and market orientation, with consistent field presence.
