🚀 Account Executive (Remote – Mexico-Based)

The Role: Account Executive (100% Remote)

As an Account Executive, you'll identify and engage potential clients, guide them through our sales process, and work alongside our senior sales team to close new business. This is an ideal opportunity to launch or accelerate your career in tech sales, learning from experienced professionals in a truly global environment—all from the comfort of your home in Mexico.

What You'll Do:
✅ Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Research and contact agencies and brands across Mexico, Latin America, and globally via LinkedIn, trade directories, and industry events
  • Execute cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone calls) presenting MerchantSpring's value proposition
  • Qualify inbound leads and nurture them through the entire sales pipeline
✅ Sales Engagement & Client Interaction
  • Schedule and conduct discovery meetings with key decision-makers
  • Present our analytics and reporting platform with confidence
  • Complete the full sales cycle from start to finish, supported by senior team members (using BANT and Sandler methodologies)
✅ Pipeline & CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in HubSpot
  • Monitor engagement and ensure timely follow-ups to keep leads moving forward
✅ Industry Knowledge & Professional Growth
  • Develop expertise in eCommerce marketplaces (Amazon, Mercado Libre, Walmart, and more)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, agency challenges, and emerging client pain points
  • Participate in ongoing sales training to sharpen your negotiation, pitching, and persuasion skills
✅ Collaboration & Impact
  • Work closely with senior sales leaders to align outreach strategies
  • Support Customer Success in ensuring your newly onboarded clients succeed
  • Develop towards a Senior Account Executive role within 1–2 years
Who You Are:
  • 1–3 years of sales or business development experience (B2B preferred)
  • Fluent English – essential for global client and team communication
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident running presentations and demos
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and eager to learn in a fast-paced sales environment
  • SaaS or eCommerce experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is advantageous
  • Self-starter mentality – you take initiative, own your role, and solve problems independently
  • Naturally curious – you ask strategic questions to truly understand client challenges
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones
