A leading global coatings company is seeking a Product Development Chemist to evaluate and develop acrylic coating formulations. You will collaborate with different departments and provide technical training to the product launch team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and at least 1 year of experience in coatings application, analysis, and quality control. Strong English skills are required. The position allows for potential remote work.

As a Product Development Chemist, you will help evaluate physical and mechanical testing of materials to ensure that developments meet all quality characteristics required by Customers.

You will report to S&T Product Development Chemist, Expert.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop acrylic coating formulations requested by the marketing department to meet market and customer needs, or improve the efficiency of existing products or processes.
  • Collaborate with the process, quality, and production departments to define the scope of scheduled projects/releases.
  • Provide technical training to the new product launch team, including technical support experts, process engineers, quality control personnel, customers.
  • Ensure that laboratory activities comply with local, national, and internal EHS regulations.
  • Implement projects to save raw materials, introduce new technologies, and improve formulas.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in formulation, analysis, testing, quality control, or application of coatings.
  • Experience in texturing and painting.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English.
