Stellantis is seeking a Restraint Design Release Engineer to lead the design, development and release of restraint components such as steering wheels, seat belts, and airbags for vehicle programs. The role collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with DVPR, DFMEA and core Stellantis documentation.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3 years of automotive engineering experience.
• Highly motivated and driven to achieve goals.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Good communication, problem solving, computer and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and release restraint components and systems (steering wheel, seat belts, airbags).
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet program timing and deliverables.
• Write change notices and compliance reports; manage core documentation (DVPR, DFMEA).
• Support plants during pre-production, production launch and serial life builds.
• Review testing, parts data and certification processes (FMVSS, ECE).
