📍 Guadalajara, Mexico | Hybrid work model (3 days in the office)
The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Director of R&D, the Research and Innovation Document Integrity Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of technical documentation across internal systems and customer portals. This includes verifying information from various sources, managing internal and customer item setups for new product launches, and maintaining up-to-date product specifications and procedures. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives, workflow documentation, and dashboard optimization to enhance operational efficiency. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams such as Product Development, Sales, and Quality Assurance is key to success in this role.

What You’ll Do
R&I Document Integrity
  • Accurately document technical information in internal and external portals (customers).
  • Verify technical information received from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ensure conformity and consistency of technical information across various portals.
  • Communicate relevant technical information clearly with internal departments (sales, quality assurance, etc.), as well as with customers and suppliers.
  • Participate in special projects, such as the implementation of new software across the network (e.g., specification management systems, nutritional database optimization).
  • Follow, maintain, update, and create new procedures upon request.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to create, update, and maintain internal documentation accuracy, including preliminary specifications, customer specifications, purchasing specifications, QAS, etc.
New Product Launch & Item Setup
  • Manage internal item setup.
  • Manage customer item setup.
Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Training
  • Support transitions from fresh to frozen platforms.
  • Create operational reports on demand.
  • Participate in workflow documentation and implementation.
  • Update, improve, and optimize dashboards based on needs and requests.
What You Bring
  • Technical DEC in Food Science or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the food manufacturing sector (or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP and SQF (or equivalent food safety standards).
  • Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
