Uptalent.io is looking for a Remote Structural Engineer with strong experience in structural engineering. The role involves designing and analyzing structural components for residential projects and preparing detailed drawings using CAD software.

We're seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years with a US-based company. Excellent understanding of US building codes is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• At least 2 years of remote work experience with a US-based company.
• Excellent understanding of US building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze structural components for woodframe residential projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for existing structures.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors for project success.
• Perform calculations to ensure structural integrity of designs.
• Monitor construction processes for compliance with design specifications.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in EnerCalc

Proficiency in Bluebeam

Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
