BairesDev is seeking a Web Performance Engineer to optimize web apps for speed and user experience. You’ll bridge frontend and UX, ensuring Core Web Vitals compliance and fast, reliable interfaces across devices and networks.

You will analyze Core Web Vitals with Lighthouse, optimize rendering, implement asset and CDN strategies, and collaborate with engineering to embed performance best practices. This role is 100% remote with flexible hours and competitive USD salaries.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Web Performance Engineering, Frontend Development, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in optimizing web applications for speed, including bundle size and rendering pipelines.
• Proficiency with performance profiling tools like Lighthouse and monitoring Core Web Vitals.
• Hands-on experience with CDN configurations and network-level optimizations.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and improve Core Web Vitals and other key performance metrics using tools like Lighthouse.
• Optimize the browser rendering pipeline to reduce layout shifts, painting time, and execution lag.
• Implement asset optimization strategies, including code splitting and bundle size reduction.
• Configure and manage CDN and caching strategies to minimize network latency and round-trip times.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate performance-oriented best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Monitor production environments to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or regressions.
