The ideal candidate has expertise in game music composition, audio implementation, and interactive music systems, with proficiency in DAWs and middleware like Wwise and FMOD.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a composer for video games.
• Proficiency in DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, or Pro Tools.
• Experience with interactive music implementation and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of music theory, orchestration, and arrangement for various ensemble sizes and styles.
• Ability to create music that enhances gameplay, narrative, and emotions.

Responsibilities

• Compose original musical scores for video games, covering a range of genres and moods.
• Create adaptive and dynamic music systems that respond to in-game events and player actions.
• Collaborate remotely with the development team to understand project vision, character themes, and emotional arcs.
• Produce high-quality audio stems and implement music using game audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD).
• Develop sound palettes and motifs that define the unique atmosphere of each game project.
• Manage multiple composition tasks, adhering to project timelines and delivery schedules.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback during the review process with the audio and game design teams.
• Stay abreast of current trends and technologies in video game music composition and audio production.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall audio design of the games.
