Job summary

Nexaminds in Mexico is seeking a Cloud Engineer to own Azure Databricks administration, security, and performance optimization. You will manage workspaces, clusters, runtimes, and Terraform-driven infrastructure alongside Data Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure networking, Unity Catalog, IaC tooling, and CI/CD pipelines. Remote work options and stock options accompany a flexible schedule as you help scale a secure data platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Cloud/Platform/Infrastructure engineering focused on Azure.
• A demonstrated ability to administer Azure Databricks workspaces and clusters.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, security, and Unity Catalog.

Responsibilities

• Own the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Azure Databricks environments.
• Enforce best practices for Databricks administration, security, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure platform availability and reliability.
• Monitor and resolve performance and configuration issues proactively.
• Design and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage secure networking and governance using Unity Catalog and Entra ID.
