BairesDev is seeking a Data Engineer specializing in Azure Databricks to design and maintain scalable data architecture within the Microsoft cloud. You will bridge raw data sources and actionable insights, ensuring that ingestion pipelines and storage systems are optimized for high-performance analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Experience building data pipelines on Azure Databricks.
• Strong SQL for data transformation and optimization.
• Experience supporting analytics and reporting workflows.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for large-scale ingestion and transformation using Azure Databricks.
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes to convert raw data into structured formats for downstream consumption.
• Build and manage data lakehouse architectures, ensuring data consistency and reliability across storage layers.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to define data requirements and develop models for complex queries.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks to ensure stability of the data platform.
• Apply data governance and quality controls to maintain data integrity and security across the Azure environment.
