GSB is seeking a Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to lead technical debt remediation while remaining hands-on with engineering. The role emphasizes reliability, automation, and continuous improvement, working with global teams and maintaining governance and security standards.

The position is remote with overlap to GDS teams in India; ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH are essential. Based in Mexico, the role requires strong DevOps and cloud experience to drive engineering excellence.

Formación

5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud/Platform Engineering.
Hands-on with technical debt identification and remediation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience making technical decisions and leading engineering teams.
Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance.

Responsabilidades

Lead and execute technical debt remediation initiatives.
Stay hands-on with implementation, troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving.
Identify, assess, and prioritize technical debt, risks, deps, and improvements.
Provide technical guidance and support engineering decisions.
Develop remediation plans and track progress against priorities.
Ensure solutions align with engineering standards, governance, and compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders and distributed teams.
Promote DevOps/SRE best practices, automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
