Pro5.ai is seeking a QA Engineer to validate web, kiosk, and ATM terminal solutions. You will design and execute tests across web, kiosk, and API stacks, build automation scripts, and validate cloud deployments on AWS.

You will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve quality metrics, perform regression testing, and ensure data integrity through SQL queries. This role is remote with a February 28, 2027 end date.

Formación

• Experience testing web applications and transactional systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of Java for code analysis, log analysis, services, or automation.
• Knowledge of applications developed in Kotlin, preferably for terminals, devices, or self-service solutions.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Experience with database validation, including data integrity validation, transaction analysis, stored procedures, tables, views and logs.
• Experience developing or executing scripts for testing and technical validation.
• Knowledge of AWS services, preferably including CloudWatch, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda/API Gateway, IAM.
• Experience testing REST APIs and integration services.
• Experience using test and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Responsabilidades

• Test Planning & Execution: Design, document, and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance test cases.
• Test Planning & Execution: Perform testing on web applications and terminal applications developed in Kotlin.
• Validate complete business workflows across web applications, kiosks, terminals, APIs, and databases.
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, transactions, interfaces, and processing results.
• Technical Validation: Analyze application and service logs to identify defects and support incident investigations.
• Technical Validation: Develop and maintain scripts for test automation, data generation, technical validations, and process execution.
• Technical Validation: Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent.
• Technical Validation: Validate components, services, and deployments hosted on AWS.
• Technical Validation: Document defects with supporting evidence, reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and severity.
• Technical Validation: Track defects through resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Collaboration & Quality Improvement: Participate in requirement analysis, backlog refinement, planning sessions, and deliverable reviews.
• Collaboration & Quality Improvement: Collaborate with Java and Kotlin developers, database specialists, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
• Collaboration & Quality Improvement: Contribute to the definition and improvement of quality standards, processes, and metrics.
