Varicent is hiring a QA Analyst to support the quality, reliability and performance of the Incentives application. You will identify issues, contribute to process improvements, and help ensure a seamless user experience while working under senior staff guidance.

You will perform manual testing on new features, validate API responses, and participate in regression testing. This role offers remote work with opportunities to grow within a leading SaaS company.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in QA testing or related field.
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual testing.
• Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA or Postman.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and database testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• B2 level English or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
• Validates API responses and tests database interactions to ensure system reliability.
• Identifies and reports defects with clear and detailed information for small-size projects.
• Documents and prioritizes bugs in JIRA or similar tools.
• Retests fixed defects and performs regression testing before releases.
• Works on simple defects unaided and contributes to testing medium-size projects.
• Identifies 'happy path' and negative tests based on requirements.
• Estimates test effort and priotizes test cases.
