BairesDev is hiring a Python Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs powering complex applications. You will work with Django, FastAPI, or Flask and PostgreSQL, ensuring performance and security.

You will join a remote-enabled, globally distributed team that values code quality, best practices, and continuous learning. Fluency in English is required for cross‑functional collaboration and mentorship.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Python backend development.
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Deep understanding of database integration and management using PostgreSQL.
• Strong background in software engineering best practices, including code optimization and API design.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Implement and optimize web applications using frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Design and manage relational database schemas and integrations, specifically with PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and feature requirements.
