BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate backend services and data processing systems running in AWS. You’ll own end-to-end delivery of microservices and asynchronous pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability across distributed systems.

You will work with Python, FastAPI, and SQL databases, with production experience in AWS and an emphasis on observability and quality. This role is 100% remote with flexible hours and USD compensation.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend production experience with Python.
• Strong experience with FastAPI.
• Production experience with AWS and event-driven architecture.
• Experience building distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Pytest for unit and integration testing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain asynchronous and batch processing systems on AWS (SQS, Lambda, ECS).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Deploy and operate services in AWS.
• Debug and resolve production issues in distributed systems; improve reliability and observability.
