Job summary

QuadSci is hiring a Cloud Engineer to build and run the cloud platform behind our AI products. This remote role is based in Mexico and joins a team managing multi-cloud environments on Azure, GCP and AWS.

The role is hands-on and focuses on provisioning infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability, security, and cost optimization. You will work with backend and data teams to ensure reliable, self-service deployments across clouds while maintaining strong security postures and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT or related field with valid licensure.
• 3+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or platform engineering.
• Solid experience with at least one major cloud: Azure, GCP or AWS.
• Understanding of cloud architecture concepts: high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, security by design, cost-aware design.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Comfort with Linux, networking fundamentals and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Professional working English for daily collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure, GCP and AWS.
• Deploy and operate containerized services and manage networking, DNS, TLS and secrets.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Run managed databases and data services with sizing, backups and upgrades.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting; participate in incident response.
• Manage identity and access across clouds and secure internal and customer apps.
• Contribute to security/compliance through audits and evidence.
• Track cloud costs and document architecture and decisions.
• Collaborate with backend and data teams for reliable deployments.
• Act as trusted cloud advisor across customer environments.
