Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Mid Level DevOps Engineer to support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations. You will collaborate with delivery teams to install Imagen software, automate workflows, and ensure go-live readiness.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Docker and Kubernetes, IaC tooling, scripting, and Windows Server administration. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Lambdas, and Function Apps.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting proprietary software.
• Experience with Python or Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with SQL.
• Thorough understanding of networking standards and protocols.
• Experience with the latest Windows Server operating systems, including troubleshooting IT issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure cloud-based infrastructure and install the Imagen software solution for customer projects.
• Configure ImagenWeb using platform editing tools for customer-specific configurations.
• Write and run bespoke data-migration processes.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve delivery and onboarding workflows.
• Ensure new services meet operability requirements (monitoring, logging, runbooks, handover) before go-live.
• Reduce incidents through root-cause analysis, problem management, and automation.
• Support incident resolution with first-line operations and technical support.
• Maintain or improve service levels during changes and transitions.
• Communicate with customers via meetings, email, phone, and conference calls to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Participate in internal weekly planning and propose project ideas.
• Stay updated on cloud technology developments and promote best practices.
