Moreton Capital Partners in Mexico City is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join a small, fast-moving engineering team. You will own cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability across AWS and data-tools.

Our stack includes AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Datadog, Airflow, and Python. You will build and optimize CI/CD workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and improve infrastructure security and performance.

Formación

• Strong Linux and AWS fundamentals with production experience.
• Terraform/IaC experience for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Python scripting to automate operations and tooling.
• Docker-based development and production environments.
• CI/CD and GitHub Actions understanding and experience.
• Networking basics for system design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis for data storage and caching.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, including ECS, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFront, WAF, and ALB.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Support Docker-based production and development environments.
• Help improve infrastructure reliability, security, and performance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Use Python and shell scripting to automate operational tasks.
• Support deployment processes and troubleshoot infra issues.
• Improve engineering workflows and reduce manual processes.

DevOps / Cloud Engineer – Systematic Commodities Hedge Fund

Technology is central to how we operate. We are building and scaling infrastructure supporting trading, research, data, and internal systems, and are hiring a DevOps Engineer to help support and improve it.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-onDevOps Engineerto work closely with the engineering team across cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability.

Our stack includes AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Aurora/PostgreSQL, Redis, Datadog, Airflow, and Python.

The role is ideal for someone with strong Linux and AWS fundamentals who enjoys troubleshooting systems, automating repetitive work, and improving how infrastructure is built and operated.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Build and maintain infrastructure across AWS, including ECS, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFront, WAF, and ALB
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Support Docker-based production and development environments
• Help improve infrastructure reliability, security, and performance

Automation & Deployment

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
• Use Python and shell scripting to automate operational and infrastructure tasks
• Support deployment processes and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
• Help improve engineering workflows and reduce manual processes

Monitoring & Data Infrastructure

• Monitor applications and infrastructure using Datadog
• Support Aurora/PostgreSQL, Redis, and Airflow environments
• Help improve logging, monitoring, alerting, and production visibility
• Investigate infrastructure and application issues across Linux, networking, databases, and AWS

• Strong knowledge of AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification
• Experience with ECS, EC2, CloudFront, WAF, and ALB
• Familiarity with Datadog and Apache Airflow
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools in an engineering workflow
• Claude / Anthropic training or certification
• Interest in financial markets, trading systems, or fintech
