Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Marketing QA Analyst to review and validate outbound email campaigns before they reach customers. You will verify content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements across campaigns.

Responsibilities include confirming audience targeting, segmentation, suppression lists, data integrity, and proper rendering of merge tags and content. You will check links, UTM parameters, and platform settings, and sign off before deployment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and QA workflows.
• Strong analytical ability to spot discrepancies in data, copy, and configuration.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting logic, and suppression requirements.
• Methodical, process-oriented, able to follow checklists and standards.
• Clear communicator capable of describing defects precisely and escalating risks.

Responsibilities

• Review outbound campaigns before deployment: content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.
• Verify audience targeting logic, segmentation, and suppression lists per specs.
• Confirm data integrity: proper merge tags and personalization fields render correctly for audiences.
• Check links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy.
• Validate platform configuration: send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address.
• Assess campaigns against brand standards, compliance requirements, and messaging strategy.
• Log and track defects in QA system; communicate findings to Development.
• Own QA sign-off gates in deployment workflow; campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance.
• Review post-launch quality issues and feed findings into QA processes.
• Maintain and improve QA docs, checklists, and testing standards.
