DaCodes is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the healthcare tech project on a nearshore basis. The role emphasizes PHP/Laravel, with strong OOP fundamentals and the ability to build scalable web applications.

The position is remote for LATAM-based professionals, requiring overlap with Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours and availability for a 4–6 month contract.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design.
• Experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
• Advanced English communication skills (client-facing role).
• Availability to work during Central or Pacific Time Zone business hours.
• Availability for a 4–6 month contract.
• Experience with PHP; Laravel is a strong plus, but not required.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Strong Node.js development experience.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following object-oriented programming principles.
• Collaborate with a distributed engineering team in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to both backend and frontend development across the application stack.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Learn and work with PHP/Laravel as part of the existing technology stack when needed.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
