Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of interpretation experience, strong listening and note-taking skills, and the ability to explain cultural nuances when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to render concepts according to interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, upholding interpreter's code of conduct.
• Familiarize with industry-specific vocabulary (healthcare terminology).
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Location-based language testing and background checks may be required.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Korean
• Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac
