Jobgether is seeking a Java Developer Associate based in Mexico to contribute to desktop and web application development and maintenance. You will leverage Core Java, JSP/Servlets, and MVC patterns within a remote team environment, collaborating with seniors to deliver reliable software.

The role emphasizes Java frameworks like Spring, REST APIs, and cross-platform compatibility across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and Java SE.
• Experience with JSP and Servlets for web development.
• Familiarity with MVC design pattern.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts.
• Developing desktop and web apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and APIs.
• Basic to intermediate JavaScript and CSS knowledge.
• Proficient in IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
• Familiarity with React/Angular/Vue is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL DBs and ORM tools like Hibernate is preferred.
• Experience with Git; familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance desktop and web applications using Core Java and Java SE.
• Build web apps using JSP and Servlets following MVC where appropriate.
• Work with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts.
• Develop applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Integrate RESTful services and APIs for inter-component communication.
