Job summary

BairesDev, a leading technology partner with 15+ years of experience, is hiring a Software Engineer specialized in Go. This fully remote role sits on our global backend platform, building high-concurrency services and microservices.

You will design, implement and maintain REST and gRPC APIs, leverage PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, and collaborate with our engineers across AWS or GCP environments to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with Go.
• Experience building high-concurrency backend services/microservices.
• Proficiency in REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience and data modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services and APIs using Go.
• Implement concurrency patterns to handle high-volume data and requests.
• Optimize and maintain database interactions with PostgreSQL for data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure best practices in microservices architecture and API design.
