Job summary

Bolder Apps is a product development studio partnering with US-based startups and companies to build AI-powered, scalable digital products. We seek a senior full-stack developer to own frontend and backend work, collaborate with US clients, and leverage AI tools to move fast.

You’ll ship client web features across data models, APIs, and UI, with React and Next.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. Remote work with US East overlap is standard, and ownership of code quality is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production web app experience with both backend and frontend
• Strong hands-on React experience; Next.js in production a plus
• Backend experience with Node.js or Python; APIs, databases, auth, and third-party integrations
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, and production deploys
• Daily use of AI tools (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) and ability to correct outputs
• Excellent English; US hours overlap and client coordination
• Ownership habits: honest estimates, blockers raised early, finished work
• Nice to have agency or multi-client experience
• Cloud hosting experience (Vercel, AWS) and databases like Postgres/Prisma/Supabase
• Some React Native or mobile exposure

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features for client web products, from data model to UI

• Develop fast, accessible React/Next.js frontends with server rendering and routing
• Translate product briefs into working software and push back when needed
• Use AI coding tools to move faster and review each line before production
• Keep code clean, tested, and documented for future engineers
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and US clients on estimates and launches
