Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a Design & Release Engineer to lead hydraulic sealing component design for automotive transmissions. You will develop technical requirements, validate seals and manage change releases using NX/CATIA/Teamcenter, while collaborating with suppliers and validation teams.

The role requires a mechanical or materials engineering background, DFMEA/DVP&R experience, and advanced English. Remote work with plant visits may be required, offering growth in a global engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
Experience in automotive transmission systems, hydraulic sealing, or sealing technologies.
Experience with Design Release Engineering activities.
Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, and root cause analysis.
Experience with NX, CATIA, and Teamcenter.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and release of hydraulic sealing components for automotive transmission systems.
Develop technical requirements and specifications for sealing applications.
Coordinate validation activities and manage change releases through Teamcenter.
