Félix is seeking a proactive Data Engineering Manager to lead our core data engineering squad and oversee the DBA team in a fully remote role. You will drive infrastructural platform projects on a GCP-native stack, mentor engineers, and collaborate across data pipelines, AI-enabled tooling, and analytics to maximize business impact.

You'll balance hands-on coding with strategic leadership, ensuring data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency while aligning projects with product goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data engineering teams with a willingness to write code, review PRs, and tackle complex system problems directly.

Responsibilities

• Lead, scale, and mentor a team of Data Engineers and oversee the DBA team.
• Drive infrastructure initiatives across streaming and batch environments using GCP, BigQuery, DBT, and Flink.
• Embed AI into pipeline code, platform operations, and data access layers.
