Placements24 is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect for a fully remote role in the energy sector. You will define the cloud strategy, design scalable architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP, and guide migrations and cloud-native applications.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, enforce security and cost governance, and provide leadership to developers and operations teams in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with ≥5 years in cloud architecture and design.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and core services.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, containers, and serverless.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions for the energy sector.
• Develop cloud strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Lead cloud migrations and new cloud-native apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud solutions.
• Define cloud security, governance, and cost management best practices.
• Provide technical leadership to development and operations teams.
• Create architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
• Stay updated on cloud trends and energy-sector challenges.
