Team Venti, a Microsoft-focused services firm, seeks a Microsoft SQL Specialist with 6+ years of hands-on SQL Server experience to join our remote Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on performance optimization, Azure SQL migrations, and cloud-native deployments for enterprise clients.

You will work with clients and internal teams to ensure database performance, cost efficiency, and reliability while supporting CI/CD workflows and ITIL-aligned processes.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Advanced English level.
• Proven expertise in Azure SQL offerings and cloud-based deployments.
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze SQL Server environments to identify performance issues and implement tuning improvements.
• Design and execute SQL workload migrations to Azure SQL services.
• Implement and optimize Azure SQL deployments including configuration and monitoring.
• Drive SQL cost optimization by analyzing usage patterns and right-sizing resources.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure SQL environments align with architecture and requirements.
• Support DevOps practices for database lifecycle management and CI/CD integration.
• Provide technical guidance on SQL best practices, cloud adoption, and performance strategies.
