BairesDev is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehousing on AWS. You will transform raw data into actionable insights while ensuring performance and reliability of the cloud data platform.

You will design ETL pipelines using Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis; build data warehouses with Redshift and S3; and manage IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, using Python and SQL for transformations. This is a 100% remote role.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Proven expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using AWS-native services like Glue, EMR, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in managing large-scale data storage and warehousing solutions using Amazon S3 and Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform or CloudFormation, for data environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement automated ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis.
• Develop and optimize enterprise data warehouses using Amazon Redshift and S3.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducible data environments.
• Write complex, high-performance data transformation logic using Python and SQL.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure data quality, security, and scalability across all AWS-native data services.
