Qualifications

• 10+ years total experience with hands-on data engineering
• Strong Python and Airflow expertise
• Advanced SQL with complex joins and WMs
• Experience building reusable Python packages
• Proven DBT tests and data validation
• Deep AWS knowledge: S3, ECS, IAM and security
• CI/CD with GitHub and automated testing
• Ability to design scalable ETL pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated ETL pipelines with Python and Airflow
• Orchestrate pipelines for sequential and parallel execution, monitor runs
• Troubleshoot and fix data pipeline errors proactively
• Export/Import data to/from CSV, JSON, XML from S3 or other storage
• Optimize SQL queries for Snowflake or similar warehouses
• Generate code using Python and Jinja templates
• Implement CI/CD from scratch using GitHub
