Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers for a fully remote, flexible hourly contract. You will build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code to help AI systems think like real developers. We value clarity, rigorous reasoning, and strong problem-solving.

You’ll review AI outputs, provide expert feedback, and design prompts to stress-test AI capabilities. This is hands-on engineering at the AI frontier, with focus on code quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages (Python/JS/Java/C++/Go/TypeScript)
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Clear written communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages and domains
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works — or doesn't
• Design challenging coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
