Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an AI Security Analyst to probe, stress-test, and evaluate frontier AI models—uncovering vulnerabilities before they become real-world problems. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role.

Analyze AI security scenarios, investigate prompt injection and data leakage, and help ensure safe, aligned AI behavior. Work independently with a 10–40 hour/week schedule and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity or information security
• Solid understanding of modern threat modeling principles
• Familiar with how AI/LLM systems are built, deployed, and potentially exploited
• Analytically sharp and precise, thinking in edge cases and details

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world AI and LLM security scenarios to understand model behavior under adversarial conditions
• Investigate and evaluate prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, jailbreaking, and system misuse cases
• Classify security issues by real-world impact and likelihood, and recommend mitigations
• Help evaluate and improve AI system behavior to stay safe, reliable, and aligned with security best practices
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments, with flexible scheduling
