Job summary

Outlier is building a remote program for LatAm's best software engineers to train AI models in code generation and debugging. As a QA Coder, you will review AI-generated code, rate responses, and write clear CS prompts while contributing to live production-style projects.

We welcome applicants from multiple Latin American countries and offer flexible, freelance contracts with pay up to $34 USD/hr plus incentives. No AI experience required.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate model responses across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of coding ability.
