Outlier is seeking a remote QA Coder to review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft clear computer science prompts. This is a freelance 1099 contract with flexible hours across Latin America, including Mexico.

Compensation offers up to $34 USD per hour, plus incentives based on project performance and location. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science, have live production code experience, and can articulate complex concepts in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve output quality.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear prompts to challenge AI models.
