Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI. You will create golden paths and reusable blueprints to help teams build, deploy, and manage AI-powered services.

In this remote role, you’ll work with a global Top 1% talent pool, enjoy flexible hours, and receive excellent compensation in USD or local currency. You’ll influence how the organization provisions AI infrastructure and empowers non-technical users.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of platform engineering principles including golden paths and blueprints.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on developer enablement over traditional SRE approaches.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI enablement.
• Create golden paths and reusable blueprints for teams to build and deploy AI-powered services.
• Develop self-service platform capabilities that abstract AI infrastructure complexity.
• Standardize LLM access, monitoring, and governance across the organization.
• Build skills for a low-code Gemini/Claude front-end to enable non-technical users to provision infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure as code and platform capabilities with a product mindset.
