Job summary

Outlier offers a remote, flexible program where engineers help train AI models to code, debug, and evaluate. You will review AI-generated code, rate model responses for accuracy and instruction-following, and craft well-structured CS prompts.

This is a 1099 contract role open to Latin America, with pay up to $34 USD/hr and additional incentives. Requirements include a CS degree from a selective school, production-code experience, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read and flag errors or quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve output.
• Write computer science questions to challenge AI models and expand coding capabilities.
