Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems atop AI, not model training, and involves delivering end-to-end automation across our stack.

You will build agentic workflows, integrate with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, and connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and internal CMS. Strong Python/Node.js skills and API know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development production process.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and internal CMS.
• Handle MCP server integrations as part of the AI stack.
