IFF is seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer to lead reliability and mechanical integrity initiatives in a world-class food ingredients facility. You will drive maintenance effectiveness, analyze asset performance, and implement RCFA-based corrective actions to eliminate recurring failures.

The role covers developing inspection plans for critical equipment, monitoring MTBF/MTTR, and guiding predictive maintenance technologies to optimize uptime and safety.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in reliability engineering, maintenance, or asset management in manufacturing.
• Experience with rotating equipment, piping, tanks, and pumps.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies for critical plant assets to increase equipment availability and reduce unplanned downtime
• Analyze equipment performance data and identify opportunities to improve reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring failures
• Monitor reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), asset availability, and maintenance costs
• Manage the site's Mechanical Integrity program, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance plans for pressure vessels, piping systems, tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, agitators, and rotating equipment
• Implement and optimize predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, and condition monitoring
• Support capital projects, shutdowns, commissioning activities, and major maintenance events while incorporating reliability and maintainability principles
• Promote best practices in reliability engineering, asset management, process safety, and continuous improvement across the facility

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, mechanical integrity, asset management, or related functions within manufacturing or process industries
• Experience working with rotating equipment, utility systems, pressure systems, and industrial maintenance practices
• Experience leading failure analysis investigations and reliability improvement projects
• Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and Mechanical Integrity programs
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, and condition monitoring
• Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Management of Change (MOC), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
