Molex seeks a Regional Category Manager to lead category strategy and commercial execution for our Guadalajara operations. • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related commercial functions.
• Skilled in supplier negotiations, RFQs, cost analysis, and sourcing strategy development.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using procurement or business intelligence tools.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, finance, quality, and suppliers.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively within global teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute regional category strategies aligned with global sourcing objectives.
• Own category performance metrics, including cost, supplier savings, inventory efficiency, quality, and lead time improvements.
• Lead supplier negotiations, sourcing activities, and total cost of ownership initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and suppliers to drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives.
• Manage supply risk through mitigation plans, alternate sourcing strategies, and supplier continuity programs.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of cost reduction, design optimization, and value-creation opportunities.
• Analyze spend, cost drivers, and supplier performance data to uncover opportunities for savings and operational improvements.
• Communicate performance results, project progress, and strategic recommendations to leadership.

You will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business results through strategic sourcing, value creation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
