Amazon is seeking a Regional Automation Engineer to join the Intl Reliability Maintenance Engineering (Intl RME) team. You will design, implement, and support software solutions and processes that enhance productivity and quality at fulfillment sites across regions.

The role requires travel to sites about 30%, coordinating with site-based Automation Engineers and vendors, and delivering scalable automation projects while aligning with Amazon's 24/7 operations.

Formación

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Programming in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and troubleshoot material handling control systems and industrial networks.
• Program and source code for in-house PLC/PC controllers and SCADA/OEE platforms.
• Lead international automation solutions and coordinate PM across sites.
• Apply SME to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime of critical assets.
• Create, optimize and monitor KPIs for machine efficiency and quality.
